About STEPP

In recent years, the world has witnessed an increasing urgency to address environmental challenges, with a particular focus on sustainable development and green initiatives. Therefore, Eco-tourism, clean energy, waste management, green Agro-processing and ICT are among the sectors with significant potential to promote a sustainable, green economy. In line with these objectives, we propose the establishment of a Green Enterprise Internship Program, aimed at placing interns in green enterprises with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Our target is to place 75% women interns & Volunteers in the next five years.

Skills Training & Employment Preparation Program (STEPP) is a need-based program, established by Einstein Rising, in collaboration with OVO Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs, that purposely aims at getting youths ready for work, exposed to new skills and different life contexts.

Since 2021, when STEPP began its journey, we have had a strong belief that young minds, once armed with knowledge, passion, and empathy, could be catalysts for change. This is how Einstein Rising through its 3-bottom line principle of People, Planet & Profit (3Ps) recognized that the world was facing complex challenges such as youth unemployment, skills mismatch and social-economic inequality. We saw the potential for young people to make a meaningful difference through green business initiatives.

STEPP continues to seek for partnerships with educational institutions, green social enterprises and multinational Organizations. One of our targets for 2024 is to establish a Scholarships and financial aid scheme to ensure that deserving individuals, regardless of their economic background, can participate.

To connect 1,000 graduates from diverse backgrounds with Green social enterprises, and multinational organizations that need support in addressing critical global issues in the next 5 years.
